3x Consuls - these are appointed by Augustus, Malik of Angasa to represent his interests. These are The Chancellor (responsible for town funds), The Marshal (responsible for defence and military actions) and The Deputy (who acts for The Malik and chairs the meeting). The Malik may choose to attend a meeting personally, in which case the deputy will stand down, for that meeting.

2x Aldermen - One is a representative of The Merchant’s Guild and is the city’s Master of Markets, the other is from The Seaman’s Guild and is the Harbour Master.

2x Preceptors - these are representatives of the Norse and Celtic religious orders on the island.

2x Councillors - these are elected by all recognised citizens of status. (Squire, Sergeant, Knight, Noble). One is The Magistrate, who sits in judgement on all citizens of Angasia who are accused of a crime, and the other is The Warden who is responsible for The City Watch.
